With the help of Teton County Integrated Solid Waste & Recycling and Slow Food in the Tetons, EcoFair is excited to be once again working towards a zero-waste model. All food vendors will be serving up deliciousness on 100% recycled reusable plates, all beverages will be served in YOUR cup that you brought from home or a stainless steel cup, and we will be accepting small e-waste items for recycling drop-off. For more information about EcoFair’s zero-waste initiative, please email our Green Team Captain.
Approximately 50 non-profit, business and government agency booths will be showcasing their sustainability efforts and selling their eco-wares, including event sponsors Energy Conservation Works, Teton County Integrated Solid Waste & Recycling, Teton Conservation District, Jackson Whole Grocer, High Country Linen, Snake River Brewing, and Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. Booths will be located in and near the large tents, and near the eco-friendly vehicle displays
Energy Efficiency Displays
2017 EcoFair’s energy conservation and efficiency displays inspired and taught fairgoers about power options available in our area.
In 2017, plan on a visit with Energy Conservation Works and Lower Valley Energy booth to learn about opportunities to increase energy efficiency in homes and businesses. Make sure to stop by for your free light bulb, and drop off your old ones with event sponsor Integrated Solid Waste & Recycling!
In the spirit of EcoFair, please take alternative transportation to the event (i.e. bike, walk, START Bus, carpool). Event parking is available in the Snow King Ball Field lot, the lower Snow King Ice Rink lot and along neighborhood streets.
Please do not park on private driveways or in lots belonging to area businesses.
